Burn Permits PDF Print

Burn permit applications are now available for Jefferson and Clear Creek Counties for the 2010-2011 Burn Season.  Permits are valid for one year and will be effective from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. The legal burn season will be available from November 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 when the regulations and conditions, as stated on the permit application, are met. The permits may be accessed by clicking on the link provided below. Please call 303-674-3145 with any questions.

Jefferson County Slash/Burn Permit

Jefferson County Burn Barrel Permit

1. The open burn season is from November 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 ONLY. Jefferson County Burn permits are valid for one year from July 2010 through June 2011.

2. Complete the application form.

3. Print and bring to EFR for preliminary approval Monday ‐ Friday 8am ‐ 4pm. (Faxes are not accepted.)

4. EFR must sign the form and attach a location map.

5. Take or mail approved form to Jefferson County Department of Health and Environment with fee. Jefferson County will not accept a fax of the application.

6. Jefferson County will inspect the site then issue a permit.

 

Clear Creek County Slash/Burn Permit

1. The open burn season is from November 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011 ONLY. Permits are valid for one year, from July 2010 through June 2011.

2. Complete the application form.

3. Email, print and bring to the admin office, or fax to EFR for approval Monday ‐ Friday 8am ‐ 4pm. Fax: 303.674.8701

4. EFR will attach a map to the site and issue a permit number.
