Smoke Chaser - Beta
This tool is designed to help locate wildland fire locations based on a GPS position and a bearing toward a smoke sighting.
The calculations for the line were provided by examples from
Movable-Type.co.uk. To use the tool, spot the smoke, take GPS coordinated and bearing and add the line to the map. Postion another spotter from a different vantage point and repeat the process. Click on the location where the points intersect to get coordinates or an address if one is available.
